I know, I know – it wasn’t even two months into the new year when I already neglected my promito blog on a weekly basis. To be completely fair I felt there was nothing worht writing about going on in my life. In search for an inspiration I somehow began reading my posts from the time when I lived and worked in Luxembourg and apparently had something worth mentioning happening to me almost every day, and even I enjoyed reading those articles now, 2 years after. So I realized I was lacking motivation and inspiration in mayn aspects and the decision to go on a holiday to my second (in my mind more often first) home, Luxembourg, was anything but difficult to make.

The ride (I always go by car, which is cheaper due to not exactly perfect air connections and allows me to get around easily while in Lux) didn’t start very well: at 5.30am there were 5 centimetres of snow on my freshly cleaned and washed car, it was still snowing lightly and just as my teampartner Andreja ofetn does I was already saying to myself: “Why am I doing this to myself…?”. I was also still quite tired in the early hour and the decision to keep myself entertained by listening to a semi-scientifin audio book in English wasn’t the best one either. The bad weather, darkenss and tiredness didn’t leave me for the entire 2-hour ride through Austria. But then the sky cleared in Germany, I started listening to my beloved Westlife and the trip turned into pure joy. It was especially nice driving by the Chimsee Lake with the little Herrnchimsee island (on which Lugvig II. of Bavaria built his famous Versailles-inspired castle) – this is where I took the following photo:     (To Be Continued…)
